Yum yum yum yum yum....DELICIOSO!!

Did you get that reference to the backpack from Dora the Explorer?  I can't be the ONLY one who is thankful for Nickelodeon when the dishes desperately need to be done or when I REALLY need a shower! (and i only have ONE kid!!)  haha....Anyways,
On the menu tonite for Dagny was some fresh, steamed broccoli.

Of course, she made sure to thoroughly inspect it before trying it :)

 Then she played with it......

and played some more, examining the color and texture...

I like her feet in this one!

Her eyes are so big....Greg said they look like anime eyes....lol
Eventually, Dagny decided that she liked it!  She didn't really eat any of it, but she got some good practice reaching, grabbing, and bringing it to her mouth, and hopefully the taste will stay with her and she will be the kid who always eats her veggies!! I know, I am asking for alot, but so far this kid has impressed the heck outta me.  She is really setting the bar high for any other babies who may come to join us :)
She is also eating pureed foods like bananas and sweet potatoes like a champ and I do have pics to prove it! They are so funny....classic food in face.....coming soon :)

Nice day+Greg home=Walk with Dagny

Except for the past couple of cold, windy days, the weather here has been phenomenal.  For President's day Greg had a day off and we had a nice walk in the neighborhood with Dags.  On some of our walks together she has met several of the local animals that live among us.  She has met horses, goats, chickens, rabbits, and of course, tortoises.

Daddy pushing the stoller

 Posing with mamma!

Looking up at her sweet daddy :)

Not many pics today, I am sorry, my computer is so freakin slow at loading them, even after resizing!  oh well.  More pics to come soon guys :)

Where do I begin?

February has been one of THOSE months.  You know, the kind that has flown by and you can barely even remember to brush your teeth in the mornings cuz you have so much to do.  This is why I have started stashing Monster lo-carb energy drinks and gum in my car/purse/trunk/diaper bag! I am not complaining, however, I feel very blessed.  My work schedule has changed a bit so that Greg, Dags, and I could start going to church.  My mom had a scare and was in the hospital for about a week, but she is out now, home, and doing well.  Nana's 80th bday was this month and we had a doozy of a celebration, full of fun and surprises.  I got to see my brother, Ray Valenz, the most handsome man in sideshow, perform with his troupe THE CIRCUS EMPORIUM ROADSHOW. My dear dear friend (83-43-1) is pregnant and so far her pregnancy is going well! If I may ask, for all those that pray, please pray that everything goes well and that this new sweet baby comes to meet us and join us on this journey we call LIFE. :)
Then there was Valentine's day :)  The sweetest husband in the world got me some princess cut diamond earrings and I got him a Kindle touch.  Dagny is still the cutest, sweetest, and cuddliest baby I know and she is only 5 months old!  My mom got us a baby bullet and so far so good!! (More on Dagny's eating adventures later!)

February is almost over, and tomorrow is leap day.  This year I will leap for joy as a symbol for my gratefulness for my family, my friends, my health, all the love surrounding me, and for any trials that are thrown my way because no matter what happens (i believe everything happens for a reason) I have support.  I have these people who love me, who will help me, who will be there for me if ever I need these things.  To these precious people, and I hope you all know who you are, I offer the same to you.  I need you, and if ever you need me......I am here.

OK, OK OK.......I can almost hear you guys saying, What?? No pictures? I "read"this blog simply for the pictures!!
I don't want you to feel jipped so I promise to be back soon with TONS of em.  I just wanted to let you know that i am still alive. :)

Adventures of Dagny

Every day, Dagny brings us joy!  She is a really good baby, and I am always hearing it from people to watch out cuz either 1) She is going to be a monster toddler or 2) The next baby is gonna be a handful.  Wutevs!!! I will be the best parent that I can be, loving, kind, and supportive and leave the rest in God's hands.

Dagny is pretty good during out photo shoots, however, we can quickly go to this----------->
which is a pretty obvious sign that Dagny is done shooting for the time being!  I like how the drool is frozen in time, dangling from her precious little mouth. Haha, I'm sure she will love me for all the pics when she is older :)

Here is Dagny with  her daddy, getting ready for her bath.  She has not once had a problem getting baths.  From the very first bath, she sat there calmly, enjoying the view and the new experience.

Not once has she cried! She splashes the water now and still looks around and smiles.
We dry her in her cute hooded towels, lather her up with baby lotion and baby oil so she stays nice and moisturized.

But first, we take more pictures!!!!

And Dagny kindly indulges us with some cute poses :)

Sometimes Dagny is the spittin image of her Daddy! Like here.
 And here!
But always a cute pie!!

Help!!!! Somebody get me outta here!!

Thanks for reading my blog everybody! I'm glad I get to share Dagny with you all and I hope you enjoy her pics as much as I love snapping shots of her :)

Woah!

I took this picture the other day with Dagny.....2012

and then I came across this picture from, like, 1982.....

Crazy, right?

also, Dagny has discovered the joys of beans!! Yes--beans, beans, they're good for your heart, the more you eat, makes you less susceptible to colon cancer! Haha, I bet you thought i was gonna say "the more you fart"  But honestly, I could eat beans all day, everyday, and I do not have a problem with gas!  I attribute this to the fact that i was basically weaned from the breast straight to bean juice. (Thank you Nani).......but I digress.....Dagny is definitely a bean burrito baby!!
see?!!

Love that Sweetie Pie!!!  I can hear her on the monitor right now, waking up in her crib.  She sings in the morning to get us to go in there!
It is the best thing ever <3

Lazy morning with Dagny

"Kiss me RIGHT here!"
Dagny makes so many silly faces :)
And she is such a happy girl!

 She is drooling alot lately.
And puts everything in her mouth, including her feet!
She looks so much like her daddy!
But she is definitely a momma's girl :)

Christmas recap!

My favorite ornament, ever, thus far :)

and here is Dagny
She is saying---"my first Christmas and THIS is all I get?!"

 just kidding!!
 She loves it!!!!

She is having so much fun discovering her new toys and how to interact with them :)
Here is Dags with her Oma, Tina, Greg's mom.

Our Christmas tree this year worked out fabulously.  We were able to score this awesome 7 ft prelit tree at target.  It was the only one left and it was the display model and it was already marked off 40%!! I think we paid like, $40 total for it. Noice :)
This is also the first picture where the oddly shaped and very misplaced purple eggplant christmas ornament makes its debut.  Can you spot it? Call me immature, but I think its funny.

And here we are, all happy and cheery on Christmas morn with Dags.  She, of course, was delighted with the Knoell side of the family being over and getting tons of hugs and kisses :)

She doesn't have the whole, smile on 3, thing down yet.  We are working on it :)

Presents from "Santa" this year, included lots and lots of books to read along with a Dr Seuss doll and Dr Seuss books.  Dagny loved it!

The 3 Knoell boys opening their brand new Garmin GPSs.  Can't you just FEEL the excitement?
The awesome Fossil watch from Tina and Eddie.  Thank you , i love it :)
Em, got a sweet little clutch, super cute.
And good ol' Opa Eddie with his musical Christmas Pluto to add
 to his collection :)
Her very first Christmas hat, courtesy of sweet Tia Dez :)
She was sooooooooo happy to see nana and dez that she could barely sleep!!
All she wanted to do was laugh at her Tia Dez :)
Look at those little eyebrows and that happy little smile!
Dagny had a really wonderful Christmas thanks to all of her loving family. We are all so thankful for her and love her so, so much.
And last but not least, here is our Valenzuela side family Christmas pic.  We put the FUN back in dysFUNctional.  Boy, I sure do love these people, with all my heart. :)

Another shot of our tree and that questionable, dangling ornament. :)
Here it is again, in yo face!!
And here is my favorite shot of me and my sweet, SWEET Baby D on our very first Christmas together, sans the obnoxious/slightly offensive looking ornament, lol.
